There should be something to smile about everyday... At least that's what I say. In 2018 Historical Dream had a full year of smiles. We attended festivals throughout several states; was featured on Philadelphia's Good Day Philly; was interviewed by Dyana Williams of WRNB 100.3 Philly; and WURD 96.1 FM. Historical Dream jewelry and apparel have been sold through the Tubman Museum in Macon, Georgia; Bella Turka in Philly; Serendipity in Philly; Cie La Vie in Oak Bluffs, Ma; and Claudia Jewelry in Edgartown, Ma; The Hudson stores in the Salt Lake City, Houston IAH, Denver, and Tennessee airport locations. We've had a few Pop Up events at friends homes and at Joan Shepp's Philadelphia boutique clothing store. All this activity means that you and others are supporting an interest to keep history front and central in the minds of everyone who sees a T-shirt being worn; earrings/necklaces/bracelets/cufflinks adorning a fashion-forward outfit; or simply a tote bag on an arm; or a wax sealer stamp celebrating an iconic treasure imprinted on a piece of delivered mail.
In 2018 we've expanded our product line to include jewelry and other items highlighting Absalom Jones (first African American Episcopalian minister), Lucretia Mott (abolitionist & humanitarian), Henry O. Flipper (first African American to graduate from West Point Military Academy), Madame CJ Walker (successful African American entrepreneur and multi-millionaire); Ethel Hedgeman Lyle (founding member of Alpha Kappa Alpha); Geronimo (Bedonkohe Apache leader of the Chiricahua Apache) and others.
So, while we thank you for your love in 2018, we are now looking forward to more smiles, exposure and retail availability throughout 2019. It is the mission to keep the momentum going with Historical Dream such that we become a household name!
